This notice explains what information Mångata Wood Co. collects when you use this website, why, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as we can.

Who we are

Mångata Wood Co. is the data controller for this website. You can contact us about anything in this notice at hello@example.com.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for visitors. There is nothing to accept or decline, which is why you haven't seen a cookie banner.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web server, it processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. It isn't used to identify you.

Visitor statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites and does not build a profile of you.

When you send an enquiry

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address and message, and optionally a budget and the piece you're interested in. We use these only to reply to you and to discuss your commission or purchase. The form is delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms, an email relay; the website itself does not keep a copy.

We keep enquiry emails only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

When you buy a piece

Payments are handled by Stripe on its own secure checkout page. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach us. Stripe tells us your name, email address and what you bought, and your delivery address if the piece is being delivered. We keep sales records for as long as UK tax law requires. You can read Stripe's privacy policy on its website.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email hello@example.com and we'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
