Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

How the site is built

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
• Colours are chosen to meet the contrast requirements, and pages reflow when zoomed in.
• Every photograph that carries meaning has a text description.
• Pages have a logical heading structure and landmarks for screen readers.
• Movement is kept gentle, and switched off if your device asks for reduced motion.
• Form errors are announced and written out in words, never shown by colour alone.
